Prof. Baccarani has been nominated Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The Board of Directors of IEEE, the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity, nominated professor Giorgio Baccarani IEEE Life Member, starting from 1st Jannuary 2012. Prof. Baccarani has been IEEE Fellow since 1999, for his contributions to the scaled silicon device theory.

The Applied & Computational Algebraic Topology (ACAT) Avanced School
will be held in Bologna on May 25-26, 2012.
The school will be followed by the 4th International Workshop on Computational Topology in Image Context (CTIC 2012), that will be held in Bertinoro on May 28-30, under the patronage of ARCES.
